My painting career began in 1995 as an employee. The woman I worked for was a contractor who did mostly new construction, remodels and high-end homes. I started doing prep work and worked my way up to a lead position, not just painting but interacting with homeowners and general contractors and supervising crews.
Business was good, and I often chose to work weekends, over-time and holidays due to the urgency of the projects, with not much reward but the gratitude of the clients and contractors and my own satisfaction with a job well done.
After more than 10 years of this, I decided to venture out on my own and began Custom Color by Jenna. I am proud to say that I had no financial assistance but was able to build a successful business by word of mouth.
From my first day on the job all those years ago, I knew painting was going to be my life. I look forward to the chance to meet new clients and work with them to make their homes look their best.
